Year 4 teachers - you deserve a round of applause! For years, we tried to make sure pupils knew their tables by the time they were in Year 6 and then the expectation moved so that the children needed to know them two full years earlier! An impossible task? For most people - yes! For Year 4 teachers? Nothing is impossible!
